What is the characteristic for IPPM RAS in the present? The experience of work in the new economic conditions has shown importance of concentration of the scientific personnel efforts on the solution of key, fundamental problems of design automation in microelectronics. It allows the institute to take a worthy place in world scientific community, provides participation in large Russian and international programs, and also enables to receive orders for perspective scientific researches and development.

Last years the institute is focused on the solution of the basic scientific problems in the given area that has allowed institute to achieve serious successes. At the moment, IPPM RAS has premises comfortable enough with a total area of 1000 sq.m, has an aggregate number of employees - 70 person, from which one Member of RAS, two Corresponding Members of RAS, 11 doctors of Sciences, 13 PhDs. The institute has modern personal computers and powerful workstations that allowed executing basic researches with the world-level results.
